If you don’t want any files to be selected, use the Deselect all option (keyboard shortcut Ctrl+D / Command–D) in the Selection menu. This will select all available files in the archive. To select all the files in the archive, use the Select all option (keyboard shortcut Ctrl+A / Command–A) in the Selection menu.
Note that if a filter is applied to the archive it might be that some files that are not displayed in the image window and thus won’t be selected.
Click on the Selections menu in the image toolbar and choose the Refresh/Show all option from the Selection menu to make sure that all files are shown. If you want to select all the files in an archive, you should first make sure that you are viewing all available files. To select files individually, press the Ctrl key (Command on the Mac) while clicking each single file that you wish to select. To select a range of files, click the first file, then press the Shift key while clicking the last file in the range. There are several ways to select more than one file in an archive. drag the file to an action, or if it is an image, you can click on the Crop or Edit button in the toolbar to edit it. (Note that the color and thumbnail appearance will vary depending on your appearance choice in the configuration.) You can now e.g. The frame around the image and the image background will be highlighted to indicate that the file is selected. To select a single file, simply click on it.
In addition, you can use the Selections menu in the image toolbar to access the most commonly used file selection options. You can select files in FotoStation in much the same way that you would in Windows Explorer or the Macintosh Finder. This is useful when you for instance want to perform batch processing or compare image previews. Selecting FilesįotoStation lets you easily select many files. See the Creating archives topic for more information. Archives also provide extra functionality such as markers and file filters. Creating an archive makes it easy to locate and browse a folder. You can choose to browse any folder on your computer by using the Desktop tab, or you can browse one folder at the time by creating an “Archive” (a shortcut) in the Archives tab.
